What Causes Painful Lump On The Shoulder?

Hello, I have a noticeable lump in the front of my left shoulder that is extremely painful and causes a catching feeling when moving my arms in a big circular motion. Also is extremely painful when lifting weights. Any thoughts of what could be causing the pain
