What Causes Painful Navel After Having Abdominal Injury?

I have injured my mid abdomen going across my entire stomach. When I injured it, I could feel a tear just ripping across half of my stomach. It feels like my stomach tore away from my inner skin lining. Now I am also starting to get sharp stabbing/shooting pains through my navel. I am in a lot of pain and it has already been over 24 hours. What should my concerns be?
