What Causes Painful Nodule In Labia Majora?

I've had a marble sized somewhat painful nodule in my left upper labia majora. It's significantly swollen but tolerable and I figured it was probably a cyst and would go away on its own. However I woke up this morning and it seems that the lymph nodes in my groin on the same side are swollen and tender.
