What Causes Painful Stretchy Skin After Using Epiduo Gel?

I am usinf epiduo gel with. Fash face wash and acne moist combine as prescribed by my dermatologist but today after the 4th day I have severed painful stretchy skin with severe redness and burn like marks . What should do , it is normal or should follow up with my dermat and show her my skin condition before proceeding with further medicatition ?
