What Causes Painful Urination Before And After Periods?

Hello before and after my period it hurts to pee. After I pee it kind of burns and I will have to stay on the toilet for 10 min just for a few drops when it feels like there is a lot. I do like bread a lot, but this only occurs during my period. This is also a sign for me when I am going to start and end my period
