What Causes Painful Urination Post Hysterectomy?

I had a hysterectomy and bladder lift 4 weeks ago and ever since the catheter was removed I am having symtoms all the time of like a bladder infection and full bladder I have light tinging of blood when I urinate and pain from it. is it possible the urethea has been damaged if the catheter was inserted to far in to the uretheai.
