What Causes Palpitations And Sense Of Pressure In The Head?

Hello, For just a few seconds, my heart started beating fast, then went back to normal. As soon as it slowed down, I felt like a head rush with slight pressure in my ears. Everything is fine now. I slowed my breathing and stayed calm. Is this normal? I m 45, female, overweight. Thank you.
