What Causes Panic Attack And Raised Heart Rate After Taking Prednisone For Bronchitis?

Hi. I am just finishing up course of antibiotics (Cipro) and inhalers for a bad bronchitis/(almost pneumonia). Have had to also use a nebulizer as breathing became difficult and large doses of prednisone, 40 mg daily). I have SLE so am normally on about 8 mg of Prednisone daily. I seem to be on the upside of this illness. However, I think that I may be experiencing an adrenal storm. I feel shaky, get tired quickly, feel as though I am going to have a panic attack (hypoglycemic), heart racing, bad salty taste in mouth that does not go away, etc. I also have Hashimoto s disease. My labs are preformed regularly. This onset appears to be directly related to this recent illness and treatment. Any advice?
