What Causes Passing Of Air Through Ears While Blowing Nose?

Need an ENT consult. Post a diving day, I hear air coming out of my ear when I blow my nose, yet an ER doctor (not ENT) who used an ottoscope insists I have not perforated my eardrum. I feel uncomfortable with this diagnosis, and I need to fly on Thursday.
