What Causes Peeling Fingertips After Starting Birth Control Pills?

Just started loestrin 24 (was on ortho-tri-cyclen-lo). After three days of sugar pill i got a horrible headache and threw up. Headache only got better when i started the new pills. Also, I've noticed that my fingertips are peeling. Is this normal?
