What Causes Pelvic And Abdominal Pain While On Birth Control Shot?

Hi I had hellp syndrome. Back in 2012. Been on birth control shot since then Now i am having lots of pelvic pain and abdominal pain especially when i am close to getting my period. I have done research on endometriosis. Are these two in any way connected to each other
