What Causes Pelvic Pain With Foul Vaginal Discharge Suggest?

I'm having lower pelvic pain with pressure feeling throughout my abdomen with some bright red bleeding and foul vaginal discharge. Came on suddenly after intercourse this evening. Also running a low grade fever and feeling faint. Have had 2 healthy pregancies and had an iud placed about 8 months ago with no problems since. Wondering what's causing this?
