What Causes Penis Bleeding And Pain?

My penis bled 2 days ago post masturbation... it's just at the edge of the glans penis just before the shaft... could that mean anything bad for me or is it just mainly because of irritation maybe?
It just bleed for about 5 seconds and it stopped... when I washed it with water, it was so painful like I have been circumcised again... but now, it's totally okay... >what could you say about this? :)
