What Causes Penis Itching After Intercourse During Pregnancy With A Vaginal Discharge?

I'm pregnant and recently had a lot of additional discharge, which I read is normal. After sex a few days ago my husband complained that his penis started itching and it has been itching for three days now. I don't itch at all. What could it be? Why would he all of a sudden react to my discharge if it has anything to do with that at all?
