What Causes Penis Vein Swelling, Twisting, Hardness With Pain?

Hello, I had a no scalpel vasectomy 1 week ago. Everything seems to be fine. Except, I have discovered what seems to be a twisted or swollen vein (or something) that is sensitive to the touch and very hard. It is up near my groin and close to inner part of my penis. I have determined that it is the vas that was cut, but it feels uncomfortable. The left side is perfectly fine and I don't have anything on that side that feels like this. Can you tell me what it might be and if it will go away? It's not a bad pain, just a droning, dull, "hey I'm still here" pain. thank you Dave
