What Causes Periods While On Contraceptive Implant In Arm?

I had a contraceptive implant put in my arm 2 years ago on the 26th January.

I have had no problems with it, in fact it has been amazing as I have not had ANY periods to deal with. However since December 28th I have had period constantly out of no where, it is not an STI as I have had that tested already.

What could be the problem?
