What Causes Persistent UTI Symptoms Inspite Of Treatment?

I have had a UTI for the past week. I got meds from my urologist and they didn't do anything. Now my symptoms are worse and my pee is turning orange like there is blood in it. I don't know what to do other than go to the ER at this point. I can't get in to a doctor until the end of the week. Is it worth my time to go to the ER?
