What Causes Persistent Cough And Sneezing?

Hi, so I had a cold since last December when I caught it from cousin and for months I sneezing and coughing and very congested. Now I have this clogged feeling in my right ear and now matter what I do.. it doesn t take away that feeling. I just want to know what I can do first with going to an ENT doctor be the last resort. Everytime I burp I just feel like fluid shifts around and I wait for like a popping feeling that never comes. And I can still hear from that ear but it s very muffled. Please help.
