What Causes Persistent Ear Pain Post Malignant Otitis Externa Surgery?

My mother is having a chronic ear infection called malignant otitis externa with extension to neck space and she was operated for this in kle by Dr r n patil on 19/02/2015 and discharge .on5/03/2015 still she has pain and other symptoms and now Dr r n patil is on leave for 15 days i don t know what do and where to go for treatment we are from dharwad and my mother has diabetes , nephropathy , BP
