What Causes Persistent Headache And Bouts Of Dizziness?

I've had a headache for a month+ straight. I also have bouts of dizziness, irritability and confusion(kind of like an awake black out or lost time). I go to the neurologist in 1 1/2 weeks but I'm just wondering what kind of stuff can cause this. It's really affecting my quality of life right now.
