What Causes Persistent Hiccups Along With Dry Heaves?

hi im in brazil and i recently had the hiccups for almos a week... they went away for about 3 days and now ive had them for about 10.... no sign of stopping ... tried everything.... burping up foam now ... some times with food sometimes not..... and bloated more than ive ever been.... im 32 years old .... ive been an severe (morning noon and night) alcoholic for about 10 years..... been drinking quite a bit here.... its that time of year in Rio... but not more that usual , that would be pretty dificult !!,... could that be the cause of my perpetual hiccups?... or could it be something more severe?.... ive come down with 2 undefined "stomach viruses" since ive been here ... i had drank a lot of tap water wich ive been instructed not to do anymore... but the treatment at the hospital has been great and i always feel better almost the second leave.... all that lasts about a week ....ONCE WAS JUST STOMACH PAIN , THE NEXT ONE CAME WITH A FEVER OF 105 FOR ABOUT 4 DAYS AND PAIN THROUGHOUT ALL MY BODY (MUSCULAR AND MIGRANE)... they put me on an IV for 3 or 4 hours.... felt better within hours of that.... now a week later this hiccup thingfor 10 days but now with burping up foam and bile consant dry heaves.... no desire to eat really... but no fever this time .... hard to believe they could not all be related... i know the message has been long so who ever bears with me on this one i deeply appreciate it , truly appreciativley, Nico
