What Causes Persistent Pain In Leg Post Knee Replacement?

I had a total knee replacement about 8 weeks ago and still in a lot of pain. The pain meds they gave me I admitt I ve taken more than I should have due to the pain being so bad. I m about to run out of medication which I can t go without. I also have a pre existing issues. I just want to no what I should do?
