What Causes Persistent Pain In Sciatica Along With Redness Around The Navel?

have had sciatica pain for about 5 weeks. 2 rounds of steroids, pain pills, a pill for nerve pain, something to sleep. Have never been on any type medication, and never down this long. I have developed redness around and in the center of my naval. What could this be?
