What Causes Persistent Red Bump Near The Armpit?

Hi I have a bump near in my armpit area. It doesn t hurt though but I got it after tweeting hairs and it s increased in size after a year. It s the same color as my skin but sometimes pinkish. I used to think it was an ingrown hair but I m not sure anymore. What s the cause of it and how can I get rid of it.
