What Causes Persistent Sharp Pain Above The Left Eyebrow?

I just have a kinda sharp pain above my left eyebrow near the temple and it's been constant for the last couple of weeks. When I get up (even slowly) it hurts. I've been suffering from migraines since I was 12 from my surgery for the hole in my heart but they have slimmed down to maybe once a month and I'm not 20. I was told that I have a blood clot but not entirely sure if it's gone by now or if the pain I'm feeling is that.
