What Causes Persistent Spitting Of Phlegm Without Cough?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? i am sick right now and i keep spitting up mucus that's clear but not coughing. This is the second time I've had this cold/allergies and last time I lost my voice and finally got better. I have tried drinking more water but it makes me want to vomit and I feel like I'm just putting the mucus back in my stomach, Should I go to school tomorrow? I don't want to get up every minute to spit mucus out and fart/sneeze at the same time just like every cold I have.
