What Causes Persistent Vaginal Discharge?

Hello, me and my boyfriend are trying to conceive and we have only been trying for 2 months and no luck.... One morning I woke up to use the rest room and I notice I had a wet spot in the crotch of my pajama pants, and through out the day I was leaking, sometimes clear and sometimes cremy. This has never happened to me before and I thought it could ve been a wet dream but it kept going through out the day, What could this be? Should I be worried?
