What Causes Pimples Along The Length Of The Penis Shaft?

i hope this doesnt sound akward but i have 5 little pimples spread throught the shaft of my penis and they've been there from what i noticed for more then a year there not painful and never have been so i dont know if its herpies or warts or what i just cant tell any ideas
