What Causes Pink Colored Vomit?

Hi, a couple days ago I was throwing up. I threw up all night but stopped in the morning. I had chills, was dizzy the whole nine yards. My boyfriend now has the same thing but says his vomit was pink? He says he didn t eat anything weird, nothing pink or red. Could this be something more serious?
