What Causes Pink Eye After Using Latisse Despite Of Anterior Basement Membrane Dystropy?

I have had anterior basement membrane dystrophy for a number of years. Is the cosmetic use of the product Latisse contraindicated? i have developed either a stye or pink eye after 4 days of use and wondered if it was related or merely coincidental. Thank you.
