What Causes Pink Vaginal Discharge While On Depo Provera Shot?

I have a light pink discharge its been going on for about 5 days now. I have been a little itchy also. I ve been on the depo provera shot for birth control. its been about a week since I missed my appt. Not sure what it is just kind of worried as of what it might be.
