What Causes Pins And Needles Sensation When Out In Cold?

I have got this problem in winters that whenever i expose myself to a winter sunshine or some sudden feeling arise in me,My whole body seems to be on fire,its like the sensation of somebody piking up a needle and contineously pinching it in your body,Can u tell mw whats the reason behind it?
