What Causes Pixelated Vision Along With Dizziness?

Hello. I have been having periods of pixelated vision for the last two-three years. The pixelation begins with no warning almost to the point of having no vision at all in what appears to be the right side of my vision field. It causes me to feel unattached to what I am viewing whether it be television, the computer, or just looking across the room. It is usually accompanied by a slight dizziness. Does this sound like something I need to have checked out and should I see a physician or an eye doctor?
