What Causes Poor Weight Gain In An Infant?

Hello doctor. My son birth wt was 3.44 KGS. He s 8months old now , wt 8.3 KGS. Hes not gaining weight past a month. He s not taking solids from past two weeks. He s just having milk once in two-three hours. He s a active baby. But I m much worried about his appetite. He just tastes the food and doesn t want to eat at all. Doc has suggested cyp-l drops 8 drops twice a day. He eats only when I give him these drops. I just want any other remedy other than these drops Kindly suggest on this.
