What Causes Pregnancy Symptoms After Having Unprotected Sex While On Birth Control?

I just had a baby 5 months ago and i am on the birth control shot; but for the 1st week we didnt use protection and every since than i felt pregnancy symptoms again but when i took pregnancy tests it all says negative. Could i be pregnant in the tubes?
