What Causes Premature Ejaculation?

doctor,i use to massage/masturbate my penis as i am having problem with premature ejaculation.I was told to do so just to have control on that.I use olive oil or mustard oil for that.Iam not having sex as iam away from my wife for last 4yrs and so i started this 2months back.Is there any problem continuing that.
