What Causes Presence Of WBCs In Urine?

For the past 3 yrs I've shown white blood cells in my urine. I've gone back a couple of times and the test come back not showing the white cells. Last year I had a minor stroke but I was have this issue before that. I don't have any discomfort but am concerned that my DR is not concerned. Should I have other opinions?
