What Causes Prickly Pain Above The Breast?

I am 30 year ols white female. Have been getting a pinching pain above left breast for months which comes and goes. Sometimes it helps to massage this spot-always occurs in same place. It doesn't necessarily feel like a deep chest pain- no change in heart beat etc- left shoulder muscle in my back aches too. Starting to get concerned as it comes and goes now for a long time
