What Causes Progressing Back Pain, Radiating Pain In Limbs And DDD?

Hi there. I am 23 yrs old, female with back pain which has been progressive over 4/5yrs: ache, burning sensations, radiating pain (and painful throbs)in shoulders to elbow hip calf and to ankle - feet. Gets worse with sitting and bending/twisting. Tingling sensations in arms finger tips and in legs and feet sometimes both, either or all at once. Pain generally worse on my left but have pain both sides too. I also have a weakness feeling in my left arm and also feels as if my arm has been dislocated from my shoulder blade because it just doesn t feel right anymore especially with movement, I pick something up and feels as if I have to gently put my shoulder back in place as it is painful and awkward, if I rotate my left shoulder my shoulder blade crunches in 4/5 difference places on the blade, also happens on right but not as dramatic. Also have a pain in left hip like pulled muscle feeling pain can be worser than other days. Mri scan showed: Schmorl s type-nodes in the bodies of t9, t10 and t12 (comment from analysis: That it is probably developmental not clinical) no vertabral body collapse and vertabrae return normal signal. There are degenerative disc in the L4/5 and L5/S1, loss of hydration and height and there is a small posterior focal disc prolapse at both these levels with associated annular disc tears. (not causing any significant spinal canal or intervertebral foraminal stenosis). Moderately severe degenerative changes affecting the L4/5 facet joins bilaterally. Nerve roots exit satisfactorily. HIP: ill-defined area of sclerosis in the intertrochanteric region in left hip which is very doubtful of clinical significance and may be old area of fibrous dysplasia but no joint effusion and no evidence of oestoid osteoma, no pelvic mass. I had seen one of the doctors within my surgery however she did not know my history and sound as if she knew much about backs because she said I shouldn t feel pain and just need physiotherapy which I understand but I do feel pain and have had physiotherapy over a year ago with no longterm results she said thats odd I will have to talk to the other doctors but haven t heard yet from 9th april. She said my hips are fine. But clearly didn t say that on scan. And this didn t answer my symptoms and the burning, aching pain in my thoracic region towards my left shoulder blade. So I asked for her to print my mri results so I could understand it myself. I ve done alot of research but still don t understand what this means for me personally. Maybe someone would be kind enough to explain what this means where I can go from here ect, what type of work can I now do as I do bar work and a sitting down job would not be ideal as it gets worse through sitting. I appreciate the reply in advance Many regards. Laura.
