What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding After Starting Lindynette?

Hi, I recently started taking lindynette 20 on the first day of my period like it said. That was saturday the 7th. It is now Tues the 17th and I m still bleeding and get cramps for about an hour or so each day. Is this normal or should I stop taking it or switch to something else?
