What Causes Prolonged Periods Inspite Of Being On Implanon?

My daughter recently had her birth control removed from her arm due to having a period 2 months straight. They out her on the pill a month ago and she has still had bleeding the whole time. Going on 3 months now. Is this normal with birth control use or should we see another doctor?
