What Causes Prolonged Periods With Severe Mood Swings?

Hi there,my husband has had a vasectomy so i don't need the pill for birth control,just for making my periods not so long also my moods acne and the pain that i suffer with my periods eg, stomach cramps and back pain, not wanting to gain weight with the pill also. My pimples are on my chin and are sis tick, Have been to a doctor that gve me orotane found they made me very moody,Hoping there is one pill that can fix all these problems? Have 2 children aged 2 and 4 and a very busy husband. Really need to feel better, Please can you advise ? Would this pill help me?
