What Causes Prolonged Spotting After Having Contraceptive Pill?

I had a medical abortion on the 25th of march. I lost alot of blood and was given an IV drip. The bleeding eased slightly and I was allowed home 14 hours later where I passed alot more blood and clots. I continued to bleed for some time and started the contraceptive pill on the 29th. I have experienced dark brown discharge in the last couple of weeks and my partner and I had interiors for the first time on Saturday 10th April. I started to bleed at this point and have been bleeding lightly since, together with the dark brown discharge... Shouldn t I go and see my doctor
