What Causes Prolonged Vomiting While On Macrobid?

My 25 year old daughter was diagnised with a uti after having symptoms of nausea and vomiting for a week that she was told was a virus. She was diagnised at the ER and given Cipro. She took that 6 days continuing to have nausea and vomiting until she was given macrobid since the rests shown Cipro was no sensitive to her bacteria. She has had 2 days of the macrobid and is still vomitting food. She is drinking gatorade and sprite and water and no longer has the dark eyes from dehydration. She cannot eat and can t go to work or do her college work. Is this normal?
