What Causes Prominent Vein In Wrists With Numbness In Palm Post Injury?

I notice a vein bulging and pulsating in my right inside wrist. 16 days ago I had a accident at home with our glass window and had to be rushed to the ER... Dr thought I slightly cut my FCU. He referred me to ORTHO SURGEON. I have tingling sensation and numbness in the palm area near the ulnar nerve. Yesterday and today my lower arm and hand feel like I have icy hot on it. Very sensitive to COLD. The bulging vein I just noticed today. Should I go to ER or wait until my next ortho appt . in 4 days.
