What Causes Prominent Veins On The Right Side Of The Face?

Hello, I just looked in the mirror and noticed that the veins along my hairline on the right side of my face down to just above the temple area are bulging. Normally, they are not at all noticeable. But they are thick and popping out now. What could this be? They didn t look like this a few hours ago. Thank you,
