What Causes Puffiness In Face Along With Joint Pains And Personality Disorder?

Hi, I think my mother has bi-polar disorder, but I m also thinking some of her physical symptoms look like hashimoto s, puffy face, swollen and achy joints. wud this disorder show a similar high feeling? She does very irrational things, a lot of manic behaviour.
