What Causes Puffy Nipples?

Im 19 and for the last 3 years have had really puffy nipples i was referred to hospital six months ago for blood and hormone test but they came back clear so i have been put on on waiting list to see a plastic surgeon but that colud take eight months is theere anything a surgeon could do to get rid of the puffiness
