What Causes Pulling Pain And Pressure In Leg Upon Standing Up?

about 2 days ago I started having a problem with my left leg everytime I sit when I get up I cant straighten out my leg . it feels like my muscles on my thigh ,knee are pulling me and the pain is hard to take what can be happening it has never happened before I', 51 years old please help
