What Causes Pulsating Sensation Inside Head?

Hi! I'm able to feel a pulsating sensation inside my head constantly for the past 3 days. It increases when i lie down to sleep. I could also sense my heart beating. i'm not really worrying about anything right now although a week back i went through some emotional phases because of a rift between me and my friend. What could be my problem? Any scans necessary?
